Borrow Materials

Present your library card at the check out desk to borrow items.

Loan periods

Item type	Loan period
New adult fiction, magazines, comic books, DVDs	7 days
Young People's videocassettes	3 days

Only two week loan materials may be renewed for an additional two weeks in person, by telephone, or online. Overdue materials and materials on reserve lists may not be renewed. Materials borrowed from other libraries may be renewable at the discretion of the loaning library.

Borrowing Limits

The maximum number of item per category which may be borrowed on a library card at any one time is as follows:

Adult Cards	Young People's Cards
5 compact discs 3 videocassettes or DVDs 5 magazines 5 pamphlets 3 books on a specific subject or by a single author	5 compact discs 3 videocassettes or DVDs 5 comic books 5 magazines 5 pamphlets 5 pictures 3 books on a specific subject or by a single author 1 encyclopedia volume 1 book on a subject if on a class assignment

Fees and Late Charges

We assess the following fees and late charges:

Materials checked out on a Young Person's Card	$4.20/item

Videocassette Fees
Videos & DVDs	FREE
Rewind Fee	$0.50
Regular Late Charges
Videocassettes & DVDs	$0.50/day
All Other Materials	$0.10/day

Overdue fines and fees for materials borrowed from other libraries are set by the loaning libraries.
