Access the Internet

Chicago Heights Public Library offers computers with broadband Internet access. 21 computers are available for 1 hour sessions.

Reservations

To reserve time on a Chicago Heights Public Library Internet computer, you may call or visit the reference desk at the Library. The Library phone number is (708) 754-0323.Reservations can be made up to one day in advance.

To ensure access to as many users as possible, patrons may reserve only two 1 hour sessions per day Monday through Saturday and one 1 hour session on Sundays. However, if no reservations exist for a particular computer, it will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Printing

Printing is 10 cents a page for Black and White, 50 cents for Color.  This is to help cover the costs of ink and paper so we can provide this service. 

Wi-fi

If you do not want to deal with the hassle of using our computers you can bring your own. Just bring in your laptop and you will be connected to the internet. You'll still need to obtain a "Internet Use Agreement" first.
