Cubs vs. Sox Vote-Off
Join us for our second annual Cubs vs. Sox vote-off! White Sox fans won last year, but the final tally was close.
Here's your chance (Cubs fans) to
turn the tables this year... or (Sox fans) to stick it to Cubs fans yet
again.Stop by the reference (back) desk to participate. Voters for the winning team will be entered in a drawing to win a Cubs or Sox themed prize.
Vote early, vote often (...well, we do limit votes to one per day)! Voting starts May 1 and runs through the end of the month.

Reading is So Delicious!
Join us for our Summer Reading Program;
"Reading is So Delicious". This year there will be both an adult and children's program, so everyone is welcome to participate!
Children (Registration June 1-9):
Kids are asked to read each week and turn in their reading log to take a spin on our wheel and win prizes. The program is 8 weeks long and if children check in 6 of the 8 weeks, they qualify to come to our ending Summer Reading Party. We will have pizza and Jason Kollum will present a program; "See a Juggler, Be a Juggler". If they check in all 8 weeks they will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Kindle eReader!
Adults (Registration starts June 1):
This program is also 8 weeks. Everyone who checks in at least 2 weeks will receive a $5 gift certivicate to Zarlingo's Italian Ice and Gelato. Everyone who turns in their book list at the end of the 8 weeks with at least 2 'check-ins' will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate to Carlo's Restaurant. The person reading the most books will automatically win a $25 gift card to Egg and I.
