Board Meetings are held at 6pm at the Library on the third Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted.

  1. General Library objectives
    • The General Library Objectives of the Chicago Heights Free Public Library shall be:
      1. To assemble, preserve and administer, in organized collections, books and related education and recreational material in order to promote, through guidance and stimulation, the communications of ideas, enlightened citizenship, and enriched personal lives.
      2. To serve the community as a reliable source of information.
      3. To support educations, civic and cultural activities of groups and organizations and to seek continually to identify community needs, and to provide programs of service to meet them.
